Our mission is to provide a safe, wholesome atmosphere for horses and humans to co-exist in harmony.

Our Business

All breeds and disciplines are welcome here.

     We have TB Race Horses, SB Trotters, Walking Horses, Quarter Horses, Paints, Appaloosa and cross breeds. All horses are valued here.

     We ride Western but have English, jumping and Australian tack and we teach bareback riding as a great way to learn balance.

     We try to maintain our farm as a warm nurishing environment for both horse and rider, We are never too busy to stop and help or answer a question. Your sucess is our sucess.

Who We Are

      James and Teresa have called this farm home since they were married in 1977. James grew up here and his Dad was born in the house where they live. His GrandDad built most of the house and James has added on over the years. It has been in James' family for almost 100 years. We were once tobacco and vegetable farmers and always maintained riding horses for ourselves but in the  early 90's we turned to horses to make our living. After becoming certified through the Horsemanship Safety Association to teach riding, we opened our farm to the public for trail rides, lessons, summer camps and boarding.  Although James' family has raised tobacco since arriving in the New World in 1700, we have not looked back or regretted our decision to focus on only horses. Our horse family includes over 40 horses of our own (and yes some are for sale to the right people) and we board another 20 or so for others.

     Our  human family is made up of 2 sons and a daughter and all three are married so we also have 2 lovely daughter in laws and a son in law. We have 5 grandchildren, 2 boys and 3 girls. Our cup runneth over!  

      We are a family farm in the most traditonal sense. We raise our own feed and hay and do the work ourselves. WE would really appreciate your support.
